Zhongji InnoLight ESG Training Empowers the Supply Chain for a Greener Future

2025-08-18

On August 7, 2025, Zhongji InnoLight held its annual Supplier ESG Training Conference. The event brought together over 100 representatives from more than 50 supplier companies, aiming to enhance ESG governance across the supply chain through systematic knowledge sharing and practical experience exchange. The training sought to strengthen industry-wide collaboration and inject new momentum into building a green, compliant, and sustainable global supply chain ecosystem.

The program featured YoujiVest, a professional ESG consulting organization with a global perspective, which provided expert interpretation of the latest international ESG policies and best practices. In the opening session, a YoujiVest lecturer delivered an in-depth analysis of supply chain transformation under the wave of international ESG compliance, systematically explaining the critical impacts of new sustainability regulations on suppliers. The course emphasized that, with mandatory disclosure requirements being implemented worldwide, companies must establish end-to-end responsibility management systems covering raw material procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. Environmental management, labor rights protection, and business ethics must be deeply integrated into business operations. Through case studies, the lecturer also highlighted the risks of non-compliance, such as trade barriers and legal penalties, stressing that ESG capability has become a strategic necessity in global competition. Companies that take the lead in building ESG capacity can secure market access through compliance reviews, reshape brand value through sustainable practices, and ultimately seize high-value positions in the green supply chain landscape.

During the compliance session, Zhongji InnoLight’s Compliance Director underscored that the failures in labor rights protection, inadequate environmental management, or violations in trade activities within the supply chain could not only result in hefty penalties and restricted market access, but also erode long-term brand value. To address these risks, Zhongji InnoLight has established a full-cycle compliance protection system for supplier partnerships. This includes a proactive ESG screening mechanism to mitigate risks at the source, the setting of science-based carbon targets to drive green transformation, and the creation of transparent integrity reporting channels to strengthen ongoing monitoring and evaluation. In cases of supplier violations, corrective actions will be required, and cooperation may be terminated if necessary. Furthermore, Zhongji InnoLight has embedded trade compliance “red lines” into supplier agreements, requiring partners to jointly commit to prohibiting forced labor, commercial bribery, and the circulation of illicit materials—thereby building a community of responsibility to safeguard against compliance risks.

In the final session on supply chain practice sharing, Zhongji InnoLight CEG expert shared the company’s full-chain supply management framework. At the supplier admission stage, Zhongji InnoLight enforces strict screening mechanisms with dual thresholds of human rights review and environmental performance evaluation to ensure sustainability capability from the outset. At the operational level, the company rigorously implements the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct, establishing a tiered supplier management system that incorporates carbon intensity, labor rights protection, and other key metrics into supplier performance evaluations, driving procurement decisions toward sustainable development. For sensitive raw materials, Zhongji InnoLight has built end-to-end traceability systems that digitally track the full lifecycle of minerals such as tungsten, tin, tantalum, gold (3TG), and cobalt. This system ensures adherence to international mineral due diligence standards and prevents conflict mineral sourcing risks. In addition, regular multi-dimensional audits are conducted on suppliers, covering environmental compliance, business ethics, and more. In response to the increasingly complex global ESG regulatory environment, Zhongji InnoLight will work closely with supply chain partners to integrate ethical sourcing, labor rights, and low-carbon transformation into shared objectives, continuously improving compliance practices.

Looking ahead, Zhongji InnoLight will join hands with its partners to build a green and compliant supply chain. Through sharing environmental technologies, reinforcing compliance awareness, strengthening compliance red lines, and implementing traceability audits, the company and its partners will jointly address sustainability challenges and seize opportunities in the sustainability era. By transforming training outcomes into practical drivers for enhanced supply chain resilience, Zhongji InnoLight aims to foster collective development momentum and create shared value.
